Up for sale we have a 1967 Plymouth GTX. This car was bought new right down the road in Oak Ridge TN. It has been well taken care of and kept here in East TN Majority of its life. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this Plymouth, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of this GTX. The body on this car in excellent condition with excellent gaps and beautiful body lines. Everything is Covered in the Monotone Red which is the factory option for this '67. The paint has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine and finish. A lot of the Chrome and stainless on this Plymouth has been replaced and is still like new. What hasn't been replaced has been cleaned and polished. All the glass is also in great condition along with the weather stripping. To finish off the exterior it's sitting on a set of 15" Magnum 500 Wheels with Firestone Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '67. On the inside it's done in the Classic Black with Bucket Seats which is also the factory option. The console has been updated with new Trim, and the seal plates have also been replaced. Looking at the door panels you'll notice the fronts have been replaced. The rear door panels, seat covers, headliner, and carpet are in great condition. Looking at the dash you'll notice it's in excellent condition as well with the factory gauges working as they should. In the trunk it offers the factory style jack and spare along with the trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of the Plymouth. Under the hood it all has a beautiful detail and looks like it would have from the factory when new. It features the Correct 440 Engine which is mated to the Four Speed Transmission and the Sure Grip Dana 60 Rear End with around 3.55 gears. The 440 is set up with the 2806178 intake and an Edelbrock Carb. This GTX does have Power Brakes with drums on all four corners. For exhaust it has Manifolds with dual pipes and chambered mufflers. When you look under this '67 you can see that all of floors and frame appear to be original and rock solid.
