1949 Plymouth Convertible Silver Anniversary Special Deluxe Additional Info:
This is a very rare unrestored convertible. It has been with the same owner for years until he passed away. There only original once this is a time capsule look closely at the photos and you will notice the small details, Tags that were never removed all the silver anniversary options, door handletrim, fender skirts, running lights, back up light, outsidespare tire inflator, drivers door mirror temperaturegauge, locking gas cap with trim, third bumper guards, The miles are original it was repainted by the dealer back in 1960's. The previous owner was a hi-rankingnaval officer I think that speaksfor the car. Recent work includes new brakes and cylinders, tune-up, oil service, battery. I have driventhis car for hundredsof miles and it is a blast with the radio on people stare and give you athumbs upThe price is negotiable just note there is not another one like it out there and the price reflectsthat. This is unmodified this is as close you are going to get back in time driving. This added detail is for the few of you car guys out there " Chrydodplydes " that do not understand the law of physicsthat goes along with a 49-year-old car with 55000 miles. The top, tires, brakes, fuel filter, spark plugs, hoses, belts, battery, exhaust, radiatorflush that should include a repaint when done right are part of the maintenance if you have 55000 miles on your vehicle "Commonsense" unless you have some magic powers like " Chrydodplydes" who thinks he knows it all and sounds like a bullshitsalesman with a lotof parts to sell. The car has one repaint like I said in the description and is inverysound conditionit is not a restored car it has been preserved and well maintained over the years there only original once.
Hello Chrydodplydes,
I'msure your restored Plymouth is a nice car anyone at any time who could afford one of your restored cars can find one pretty easilymy car is not restored it is as original as you can get with proper maintenanceand care. I hope you stick with what you are doing and limit your self from cominginto contact with anything of real value it would be a shame.
