This car is a gem for someone who wants a genuine vintage Mopar vehicle but does not want to spend $25k (or more) to get it! I have spent four years and over $20,000 on this car, and it is time to move on to other projects! It still needs a paint job, a new windshield (existing one is badly cracked), a dash cover, and a wiper-motor. Pretty much everything else is NEW, as you will see in the list here:
· Texas Car – Solid Body
· Refurbished interior (not new, but looks nice ... headliner is GREAT)
· New (Rebuilt) Engine from Automotive Machine (Beavercreek, OH) – less than 50 miles
· New Timing Chain & Gears
· New Radiator
· New Starter
· New Alternator
· New Distributor
· New Spark Plugs
· New Ignition Coil, Wires, Cap & Rotor
· New Clutch
· New Flywheel
· Installed rebuilt Super-6 Intake and 2-bbl Carburetor
· New Water Pump
· New Shock Absorbers & U-Joints
· New Master Cylinder & Brake Booster
· New Front Disc Brakes & Wheel Spindles
· New Rear Drum Brakes, Cylinders, and Shoes
· All new Brake Lines
· New Exhaust & Muffler
· New Cragar R/S Wheels and Brand New Tires
· New Battery
· New Turn Signal Switch
· New Brake Switch
· New filters (oil, air, fuel)
· Replaces all indicator lamps
· Install New After-market Tachometer
· Repairs to wiring harness, gauges
· Shifter linkage adjusted
· Many more minor repairs and adjustments
The FIRST PHOTO shows recent repairs to the front hood area, which received some minor damage during storage at the shop. (You can see that damage in the other photos if you look closely. ALL WORK was done by Red Zone Automotive in Dayton, OH, a respected custom shop known for their concourse & speed work.
