1989 Peugeot Other STX V6 Additional Info:

1989 Peugeot 505 STXNo Reserve
Have had 6 Peugeot's so far 3 - 505's.This one is special. With the PRV(Peugeot,Renault,Volvo) 2.8L V6. It is unlike all of the others before. Everything else had a 4cly!
Even has a working LSD rear diff. Four wheel disc brakes, independent suspension. Variable Assit-Power Steering. Full size trunk & spare. Two cigarette lighters (one in the front and back) It has less than 140K miles. Was a CA car until 09. It had sat from about 2013 until a few months ago.

Clear VA Title.

Everything needed, has been gone through in order to make it dependable again. Just took it on a 200 mile round trip to see its former owner. Has plenty of power, drive, rides perfect. Ready to be a daily driver, or a grocery getter. It is shockingly quick, really quick. No smoke, tracks perfect. Very good MPG.Just got back from getting grocery's tonight in it. All the lights work well, nice and bright. The dash is really pretty in the dark. Radio too.
While at the gas pump recently I heard " Holy $#*! a Peugeot that runs!". The man was in awe, had been a long time...

Not many well sorted V6 cars left!

New radio with bluetooth, USB,SD slot.

Just charged/ flushed the A/C. Not that cold, but working. Pug 505's never had great AC to begin with.

Zf 4spd Auto. Power locks, all windows work well. Handles, and rides perfect. The front rotors are in very nice shape too( not made anymore).

I have essentially rebuilt the main systems on the car. All with quality OEM parts, no crap!

The following is just a brief list:

New:

Radio

Newer Battery(From about 10 of 2015)

Valve cover gaskets

4 Hole Injectors

Fuel Filter

Fuel Pump

Fuel Pressure Regulator

Tank Feed lines

Regulator hoses

Coil

Plugs

Wires

Ignition Module

Crank Sensor

Master cylinder

Rebuilt calipers

Brake Hoses

Pads

Hankook Tires

A/c flush, then charge with R152A

Got all lights working

ECU temp Sensor

Gauge Temp Sensor

Cluster Swap(original one Temp gauge broke, current one no speedo..)

Belts

Relays

Volvo ECU

A few things not so great:

A little rust under the front windshield. Thats about it, Underside is solid(pictures to come).

Need 1 fog light lense

The paint is many shades of red. Sadly on the doors years ago someone sprayed them red. No idea why… Many dings scrapes all around it.

About time for an O2 sensor. For the 1ststart, it likes to rev until exhaust warms up(about 1 minute). May get to this before listing ending.

Update: I Have an Oxygen on order through Amazon Prime, will update when installed.

The Sun Roof is stuck closed. Most 505's are like this. Even when they work, soon they will break again. Headliner is bowed down some, but solid.

Just got the speedo working. It is flicky, but dependable.(the one in it now is from a older V6 car, with comically higher mileage). Also many parts, hoses, ect. No real rust to speak of, just at the bottom of the windshield.

From time to time the Power steering has a senior moment "turns off", must need another flushing(still working on this one). I drive it just fine. This hasn't happened all that often, it must be a wee little clog in the valve of the rack, will flush again very soon.

Was converted from ABS, to the standard setup(able to find parts) Works well.

This car is Dependable, and willing.

It is located in Maurertown, VA 22644

Willing to deliver within 100 miles for FREE! Was just in Arlington with it this week. You can drive it home, tow, load onto a submarine, be pulled by a flock of wild geese. Even ship it. What ever the case, its up to the buyer to figure it out.

Like to be payed in full, and car gone within 1 week of listing ending(not set in stone)

I'm always open to interesting, or other weird cars. If this last line applies to you, and the STX tickles your fancy, let me know. Something could be worked out.
