No reserve !!! This is a hard to find 2 door fastback design, tons of 4 doors listed at 12k and up, so if your looking for a 2 door model, here's your chance, the only other 2 door 49-50 that i saw on here was butchered and original drivetrane long gone and price is over 4x what my start price is, which i consider super low. I'm sure there will be a few bids here near the end ! i believe this was called a club sedan it has a great fastback look to it that gets tons of attention going down the roa, it originally had the swan hood ornament but it was badly broken, so this optional ornament for 49 was purchased here on ebay and bolted right onto the original holes. the engine runs smooth with no smoke or unusual noises, no oil burn, starts easy, good clutch, runs quiet with a new exhaust system from the front to back. newer brake wheel cylinders, brake hoses, brake lines, new fuel pump, new fuel lines, new battery, new solenoid. New HD battery cables for the 6 volt system, working lights, hea, horn and wipers, the fuel sending unit is inoperable, may be stuck from being parked for some time, drives good, driver rocker panel has a surface rust spot but its surface only and could just be sanded and touched up, a little bubbling just below rear quarter moulding on each side but not bad, bumpers are driver quality with some wear spots on them, tires look great and like new tread and wide white walls but are very old and not to be trusted as a daily driver unless new tubes are put in, they work fine but are old so suggest replacing at least the tubes, i drive it around the block once every 2 weeks as is just to keep it up and running, all the window glass Is good, shows an old repaint that shines up with minor flaws from years of use, interior is original and has some wear but again, it's original, rear interior side panels show some wear. Headliner is still up but has a few holes near rear window and its the original headliner. Other then a repaint, its pretty much original. This was not restored, but was kept up with mechanically and did have a repaint at some point.. other then tha, it is original, the Frame is solid, trunk pan is solid and was coated with some type of preservative,, passenger side floor has just a small section that can easily patched but the floor steel is firm and solid. The hole is rather small and can be seen in the video link or if you request specific photos, I will certainly take some pics and send them to you phone or email, nothing hidden here..
