Rare Factory Original 1970 Porsche 914-6, Converted To A GT Race Car.
This California Car Has No Rust, But Needs A Full Restoration.
This Car Was Converted To GT Specs For Historic Racing Purposes In the Mid-1980's By Ralph Meany, A Porsche Dealer And Accomplished Independent IMSA GTU Racer. The Car was Later Campaigned Successfully in SVRA And HSR Racing Events From 2005 Through 2022, With Many Podium Finishes. Its Last Race Was In 2022 When It Was Damaged In An Accident During Practice At Watkins Glen International Raceway.
The Last Photo In The Gallery Was Taken When The Car Was In Its Prime, Competing In Historic Sports Car Racing, Prior To The Accident In 2022.
The Car Was Originally Imported To California, And Remained On The West Coast Until 2003, When It Was Purchased And Sent To The East Coast For A Complete Restoration, In Preparation For Historic Sports Car Racing.
