Vehicle Details

1966 Amphicar featured at the Frank Davis Resort in Moodus, Ct. Bought new by Frank Davis this car shuttled guests up and down the Connecticut River. This car was their main car and featured in the resort brochures and also in a documentary of Frank Davis Resort. I have a lot of documentation including a brochure from the resort featuring this car in 1967. I believe I have most of the parts for this car like the head light buckets and bumpers. The car has typical rust. Rear quarters, floor pans, and battery tray. Rest of the car appears to be solid. Engine does turn by hand, trans does shift through the gears and PTO does engage.
