1938 FORD Has a 1940 V8 flat head motor rebuilt with readers and dual exhaust, 6/7 years ago. The upholstery has been re- done. It also has been painted a slightly darker gray than original paint.It was then clear coated and a red pinstripe was added around the car. Two new bumpers and the bumperettes were re chromed. Drivers side bumper has a small bend in it, hard to notice. All the windows are perfect. Windshield, back 2 windows and the 2 side ones that open also were replaced. The 2 doors windows are perfect and are original. The inside light works. The car is 12 volt with an alternator. There's a hot water heater in it with a water shut off on the motor.All the gauges work, as well as the clock . A back up camera has been added, as well as directional lights, 3rd brake lights. Also added a vacuum gauge which has 1 electric wiper and the 2nd wiper is vacuum and doesn't work. The windshield can be cranked out allowing for A breeze in warm weather. The transmission gives off a sound in 1st and 2nd gear - 3rd is quiet. it's been like that for some time and the car will cruise 50/55 with no problem. The brakes are still cable and they work fine and the emergency brake also works. Running boards have new skins on them. This car is A very good driver. It has won multiple awards in the past!! It was also in a New Balance commercial. New Balance came out in 1938.
