1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Club Coupe Custom Additional Info:
1948 CHEVROLET FLEETMASTER CLUB COUPE History The Chevrolet Fleetmaster is an automobile which was produced by US automaker Chevrolet from 1941 to 1952. What Makes This Car Special These 48s were some of the first cars that civilians started buying after the war and they were some of the first cars that got Hot-Rodded also. The completely restored and modified 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster Club Coupe Custom we have at Skyway Classics is representative of what Rodders have done ever since. Mechanical To propel our 48 it has a modified 350 cubic inch engine with an aluminum intake and performance carb, polished valve covers, air cleaner, chrome alternator, ceramic headers, MSD modified electronics, air conditioning, reworked radiator and cooling system, all in a very nice painted and detailed engine compartment, all hooked to an automatic transmission. Interior The interior has a custom tan/brown bucket seat in the front and rear bench seat with a matching set of door panels, top liner and trunk. The painted dash houses performance aftermarket gauges as well as the speedometer, a drop-down tach, and a stereo radio system. Take the padded steering wheel in your hands when you drive it and you will feel that this car has power steering underneath too. External The great shade of Titanium paint on the exterior and a different shade on the top shows well on the curves, the chrome and stainless trim is very nice, and overall it is a perfect choice for the car. The entire chassis has been updated and includes a suspension with a Mustang II front end, rear leaf springs under a 10-bolt Chevy differential, front Disc Brakes, air, and power steering. Exhaust flows out the dual exhaust system out the back as the car rides on polished 5-spoke mag wheels and black wall tires. Conclusion Classy is the best word to describe this 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Club Coupe Custom Street Rod we have at Skyway Classics. Superior paint and body work, great interior, power to spare, all on a safe good handling suspension and tires and wheels makes this 48 a car you will want to add to your garage.
