Vehicle Original VIN : 1846338Original Ford V-Roadster Bought new by R.I. Senator Peter Gerry, descendant of Elwood Gery, signer of the Declaration of Independence. Transferred in 1948 and registered by Mrs. Cornelia H. Gerry. Purchased from the Gerry estate and restored in about 1963 by Clayton Thomas, Clayton Thomas Garage. Transferred to Mr. Gene Zimmerman from classic car dealer Tiny Gould. On display at Zimmerman's Harrisburg, PA museum "Automobilorama" from the mid 1960's until 1977. Purchased by Bruce Larson, championship driver of the USA-1 funny car, for inclusion in his museum of racing in 1977. An incredible Ford V-8 roadster with a superb pedigree going back to the original owner. In amazing condition, and extremely rare as such. Most of the V-8 roadsters in the world are reproductions. Ford made about 6,000 1932 V-8 roadsters and very few real cars survive today. Lots of paperwork with this car documenting its history. Enjoy as is or use a real car with a soul and history going back to new to build your legacy automobile.
