1965 Renault Dinalpin (Alpine A110) imported from Mexico. From what I gather, the Dinalpin is completely equivalent to the Alpine A110, but is just the name given to the ones produced in Mexico as opposed to the EU.
Imported as a driving car (original Mexico title/registration shown in images - now has a clean Delaware title), it was originally going to be buttoned up and driven for personal use. However, things haven't gone as planned, especially financially and time-wise, and so it hasn't been touched other than moving around for storage.
Does drive, but has the following caveats since we had never gotten to getting it road ready:
- Most likely needs a tune up- Linkage to throttle body needs to be "fixed". The chain that pulls the throttle valve was just being tensioned by a screw-clamp and loses tension when pressing accelerator, and just needs a more permanent connection. May fix this before it sells, but should be a very basic fix- Currently difficult to get into reverse; shifter mechanism may need to be adjusted by someone familiar with the car
Solid car otherwise and would make a rare/collectible great little driver once gone over!
