1970 Plymouth Barracuda Additional Info:

I only know of one other 318 4-speed 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe in FY1, Lemon Twist Yellow and it belonged to my cousin Dougie. This is one of the rarest and best optioned Barracudas you will find and I really hope someone will restore it correct to the fender tag.

The floors and rails and inner structure are all original as noted by the factory undercoat. It has had quarters, rear body panel, roof skin and replacement fenders. It may have had more work done but without stripping the car that's what I can tell.

The metal work and mud work is done on this car but not by us. It has good lines and looks like a decent job. If I started this project I would want to have it chemically dipped, go over all of the metal work that was done and start fresh. I have no idea if the body work has been done to our standards.

The original, numbers matching engine, transmission, rear end (8 3/4), rallye dash, seats, trim panels, chrome, trim, glass, lights, are all there and completely restorable. It comes with new OER Grille assembly and front and rear bumpers.

You can buy the car the way it is and do your own thing or we can build you your ultimate dream car. We can also just do the body and paint if you like. Again, I'd be so thrilled to build it to stock and feature it in the show as it's just like Dougie's old car.

Note, the Sport Hood (J54) is not correct for a non BS Cuda in 1970. It would have a flat hood and I will provide a really nice original if someone buys the car and wants to change it out. I would just trade for the sport hood on the car.

The car has been bolted together for transport and for visual reference as to what comes with the car and what doesn't. There are some wiring harnesses, overhead consolette, brackets, shields etc that come with it but aren't on the car during photos.

Check out the list of options on this little jewel.
