A Single owner Southern California driven 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300SD Sedan finished in a stunning shade of Black over rare Black leather interior. The single owner special ordered 300SD was bought under the Mercedes-Benz European Delivery Program after the car left the Stuttgart factory in November of 1983. The car then lived in Laguna Hills California its entire life. This 300SD is a very unusual spec W126, having been special ordered... with the heated front and rear seats, drivers Airbag and the Mercedes-Benz pneumatic/orthopedic front seats. All three options are incredibly rare to see on earlier W126 Sedans. The Black finish on the body is absolutely stunning. Other than a few stone chips in the front paint underneath the headlights and a few small scratches in the rear bumper, this paint is exceptional with an incredibly deep luster and shine. All of the glass is scratch and crack free and all of the trim is in excellent condition. The leather interior is in beautiful condition and the leather is still very soft to the touch. There are a few small creases in the driver seat bolster and a few small creases in the passenger seat bolster. The carpets are in exceptional condition and the Mercedes rubber mats are in great shape. The original dash top and wood are in excellent condition free from cracking or damage and all of the switchgear is in excellent shape. The near indestructible Mercedes-Benz Turbo Diesel engine is in top condition. It starts right up and runs incredibly strong. The transmission shifts smoothly through all of the gears and the brakes and steering have an excellent solid feel. The ride is top notch as a Mercedes-Benz W126 should be with no noises or issues. All of the electronics are functioning as it should down to the original Becker radio, power antenna, sunroof which opens and closes very smoothly, all power windows and locks, all heated power seats and the original orthopedic seats and cruise control are still functioning. The AC is ice cold and very strong and the heater is very warm. All of the exterior and interior lights operate as they should and all of the dash lights are in proper working order.
