1965 Other Makes Homebuilt OMC Cushman Roadster Additional Info:
Hello All,
You are bidding on a very interesting little car that I have owned for about a year. Looks to be built or at least started in the sixties as most of the parts are from that era... Mid 60's OMC 18hp cushman engine with a 3-pd manual trans, and it's Front Wheel Drive which is cool, The trans pattern is reverse so 3rd is left/up. The Steering column and radio look to be the only 70's parts on the car. It has Fiat hubcaps so I assume the wheels and maybe other suspension parts are also Fiat. Body is Aluminum that is bare, I did polish the center body section to see if it shine up and it did. Other features include a pretty cool aluminum steering box, All gauges and lights/blinkers work, original bias tires including spare, hinged hood with struts and latch.
This is still considered a project car, It wasn't running when I got it, The OMC engine runs great now, has new carb and the choke cable still needs finished. The trans and clutch all work but the it slips a little in forward gears/not reverse. The clutch is fine, the problem is in the slave cyl as it leaks and does disengage fast enough causes it to slip while releasing. Brakes are working now except for left/rear as it still needs attention.
Please look at the pics and send over an email if you have any questions, I will also consider offers and possible trades likeVintage Motocross bikes-ossa bultaco maico penton husky rickman honda yamaha etc or ratrod projects, really anything old with a motor.
Car is sold with a Bill-of-Sale and is not currently titled.
Bidding starts at $1 so all can get in on the action.
Thanks and have a great day
