The #47 Sprint Car is not a famous car! It is a SURVIVOR and a true example of specialty built Sprint Race Cars of the 60's.
This car is a Tucson race car and raced in Tucson and at Manzanita Raceway in Phoenix, competing in many divisions over the years.
The Unique hand fabrication of the body parts, chassis, and other components from another era are interesting to say the least.
Built in Tucson by Ray Weinzapfel, with names like Hank Arnold, Roger McCluskey, Bruce Robinson, Hank Henry, and Bill Cheesebourgh involved as well. Truly a Tucson Racing Community build.
Keith Morgan spent lots of time behind the wheel, with a great season in 1968. Bob Huebner, Frank McDaniel, Billy Shuman, and a host of other well recognized Sprint Car drivers drove this beauty as well.
Purchasing #47 Sprint Car is buying into a piece of history of racing in Tucson and Phoenix in the 60's. Proudly displayed here at Crown Concepts, and ready for you!
