I.9 engine bored to .020 O/S, with a solid lifter cam, domed Venolia pistons, Carrillo rods, fed by a new genuine Weber 32/36 DGEV carburetor. and fired by a MSD ignition module, Blaster 2 coil and MSD electronic distributor. Exhaust header feeds a 2" exhaust with MagnaFlow muffler and glass pack resonator. Approximately 5000 miles on this setup.Pros:4 speed transmission with approx. 50,000 miles.Upgraded permanent magnet starter and 45 amp alternator. Many new or reconditioned parts at time of engine rebuild (water pump, fuel pump, oil pump, gaskets, etc.).1975 "Big Brake" kit.3 point retractable seat belt conversion kit for front seatsNew electronic voltage regulatorTachometer and rallye gauges (Volt Meter, Clock and Oil Pressure)Upgraded suspension (poly control arm bushings, ball joints)Gas tank relined by Gas Tank Renu USAAlpine 7150 AM/FM cassette stereo radio.Cons:Some surface rust bubbling on front fenders in the past. Treated with POR-15 and touched-up by previous owner’s shop - see picturesTypical glue fade-through on headliner, with slight cracks around dome lampRear seat has cracked and torn areas. It's covered with a seat cover that fits well and looks good. (The front seats were reupholstered in the past, with some wear visible on the driver's seat upper edge binding.)Crack in dash in center area - not wide or bulging. DashMat cover included.Fuel gauge reads about ½ its actual level.Speedometer is accurate but choppy at lower speeds. New cable not yet installed.Small star crack in windshield -it is in the lower right side and does not affect visibility. Replacements can be had for $2-300. The car is in the Phoenix area so I haven’t bothered! I reduced the price by $500 to compensate. It's a sharp-looking car that consistently wins trophies at the shows. But I have 3 Opels and garage space for only 2, so this one must go.
