I hate to sell this car but I am losing storage space for it. Car runs excellent. Can be driven anywhere. Lots of options. Many compliments at the car shows.
From what I know car was built in Jan 64 in Kansas City. Sold new in NC and spent most of the time in TX. I've owned it since 2013 in NJ. I am not sure of the actual mileage but the odometer showed about 20,000 when I bought it and now shows 28,134.
Garage kept. Stunning color combination is original and was repainted with base coat / clear coat. Paint is excellent with no issues, dings, chips or dents. (See hood reflection in photos). Body is super straight with no rust. Body and frame are solid. No issues there. Trunk floor is rust free. (See pics of trunk floor under carpet.) Chrome is perfect, there is no pitting. Left front fender upper chrome has small dent in front but no damage to paint (see photo). Underside of trunk floor appears to have brown spots which look like rust but is not. It's something like a hardened adhesive and might be original.
Have some documents and receipts of car's history, and work done, and early photos which all goes with car. Spare parts, build sheet, literature and shop manuals are also included with car.
Interior was redone with correct metallic blue leather. Headliner is new and perfect. Console is in excellent condition and is the best I've ever seen. Tachometer works perfect. Have brand new correct left and right chambered exhaust pipes which go with the car (first year for chambered exhaust by Oldsmobile). The resonators on the car are in very good condition and are like the originals. (See photos.)
Engine and trans are rebuilt. Heads have hardened exhaust valve seats. Ignition has been converted to Pertronix HEI electronic ignition for reliability. Engine and trans are original to the car to the best of my knowledge.
See build sheet for all options, but here is a quick rundown (some are standard with the Starfire):
