1969 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser VISTA CRUISER STAION WAGON Additional Info:
Please read entire description before buying. I am selling my 1969 Oldsmobile Vista cruiser station wagon. And Yes it has a 1970 bumper grills hood and core support. ( this is how I had purchased the car) The car was in a frontal accident at one time and apparently all that was available was a 1970 parts car. Other than that the car is mostly original. Motor, Transmission 350 2 barrel 350 turbo transmission, and I believe the original Exhaust system. The front seat would need to be recovered and new foam. There was some touch up paint on some of the front of the car. The rest is original paint. This was a west Coast car so no salt or winter. The only rust spots are on the passenger lower fender and the driver fender for what ever reason had some filler at the bottom ( only filler on the car). and a couple of spots on the bottom of drivers side door and one spot below the rear door. The car is very solid overall with a lot of potential. Not to mention these cars are getting harder to find. Most wagons were used for demolition derby. The bottom of the spare tire well is rock solid and the bottom storage in the back is solid with some surface rust. There is a hairline crack in one of the vista glass. It is a drum brake car. Millage shows 46,000 I am sure 146,000??
Overall you can jump in and drive this car anywhere fires right up. Smokes a little but then clears right up. Has newer tires and brand new battery. Also include is a 1969 front bumper, headlight bezels inner/outers, Grills and a AM/FM radio two piece.
These cars were the precursors to the SUV of today. And they are a very cool looking car. I get thumbs up everywhere this goes. Probably of the days of the family going to the drive in movies.
This car is not perfect so don't expect perfect. I am trying to disclose everything and no surprises, Oh and by the way the entire dash is perfect. Why am I selling? because I an crazy. No that's a joke I have other Oldsmobile's I want to restore..
These are absolutely best looking wagons of the 60's and 70's in my opinion only. I really believe the value of these are on the rise there is just not that many out there.
