1957 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight J2 Rocket V8 Tri-Power & Factory A/C, Power Window Project Sedan VIDEO BELOW VIDEO LINK FOR A TOUR AND NARRATIVE ABOUT THIS '57 PROJECT OLDS 98 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhYIdOCM4sM Survivor of the Bastrop, Texas fire, the largest in Texas wildfirehistory, this 1957 Olds 98 sedan was fortunate enough to have avoided fire damage. This example was fortunate enough to have been saved by my friend, who I am selling off several unique project cars for. This is a mostly complete Texas car with all of the rare stainless pieces and an overall solid body and frame. Even the glass is intact. The front and rear seat frames are in place along with the original steering wheel & gauge cluster. The Rocket V8 under the hood still wears its J2 tri-power intake and a single carburetor, missing 2 of them and the breather assembly. This engine turns free and is definately useable/rebuildable. The accessory plate underhood confirms this is a factory air conditioning and power window example, not surprising as this was Oldsmobile's flagship model for more than 50 years! This car is sold on a bill of sale only and has a very low reserve price. This car deserves to be saved and built.
