This is a RARE ALL ORIGINAL Hurst Olds dual gate shifter, W 30. Its the first one that was built by Oldsmobile and the ONLY A-body to come with a L34 "R" code Rocket 350, 4bl, V-8. When ordered if you purchased the W-30 Option. The total Hurst Olds W-30 production was only 2,499! It has a professionally rebuilt Turbo-Hydromatic 350 auto, with a mild stall speed. A 7 1/2" 10 bolt, 2:73 limited slip axle, with a original billet style cover, and the gear oil was replaced. The WHOLE engine was also professionally rebuilt and balanced,from a Chicago speed shop. There were NO shortcuts, NO over the counter parts. Every original part; alternator, starter, water pump, power steering,a/c unit, 700 cfm Rochester quadrajet carb,were all professionally rebuilt!The engine was bored out .30 over, new piston, rods, cam(competition, 1 step above stock), timing chain, gears,steel girdles, lifters, belts, seals, 3 angle valve job, gaskets, sensors, cables, battery, fuel pump, lines, hoses, HD Fan clutch. ALLparts, brackets, pulleys werepowder coated to correctcolor. Ipurchase the car from Nevada, from the second owner. He owned it for 10 years, and bought it from the estate sale. The odometer reads 1550. I believe this to be correc, but don't have any documents, its just the way it looks, dash, lites, carpet door jambs etc. This classic is 99% RUST-FREE. Look at the pics, this is the nicest, cleanest W30 you will see. I think some of the car has been repainted, all the panels, doors etc are all original, look at how perfect the sides are in the reflections. NO BONDO. Look at how rust free the undercarriage, trunk, wheel wells etc are. Tires, rims, and brakes are excellent. There is somehail damage(trunk, roof, and hood) and the pass doorhas a small dent.look at the pic's. Interior is excellent except for the driver's seat has some of the velour removed( I was trying to get it matched). Its a tan camel velour, all gages work, look at how nice the interior chrome, shifter, carpet, door skins are. I have spent well over $20,000, but I have to sell. I have set a low reserve!!!! MY LOSS YOUR GAIN! This is a great running and driving classic.I have some extra parts to be discussed. Please do your research. This classic is in outstanding ORIGINAL shape!
