For sale $29,900 1983 15th Anniversary Hurst Edition Oldsmobile with only 3001 of these 15th anniversary cars made in 83. The odo is showing 74,000 miles. It is sold mileage exempt. An incredibly nice driver / survivor condition. Oldsmobile and Hurst Performance had a partnership spread out over 16 years. Beginning in 1968 by and ending in 1984, they offered a muscle car based on the Cutlass on nine occasions. The last version was the 1983-84 Hurst/Olds which would be the best-selling of the all time. These cars had the Iconic Lighting Rods shifter. This one is a very nice solid driver -quality car.Vin 1G3AK4794DM387341The Hurst/Olds would go on hiatus after 1979 and not return until 1983. In celebration of its 15th anniversary, all 3,001 of the 1983 Hurst/Olds were painted black with silver trim, chrome wheels, rear spoiler, they had a raised hood, and Lightning Rod shifters supplied by Hurst The 307 cubic inch V8 available in the Cutlass was gussied up slightly with stiffer gearing. For 1984, the color scheme of the cars was reversed and 3,500 were produced, after which the Hurst/Olds would disappear altogether. This incredibly nice car features what appears to be original paint and interior. It runs drives and stops very well. It has plenty of power and is a fantastic cruiser. Yeah iconic lightning rods work well and shift this car and just drive or through, using all three of the lightning rods. The burgundy cloth the interior is an excellent condition, so are the door panels headliner carpet and the original dash AM/FM stereo with iconic chrome 15 inch wheels and radio tires the 15th anniversary striping is an excellent condition and looks amazing on the car. The AC blows ice cold, signal lights, windshield wipers horn, back up lights all work together in harmony this is a fantastic car to start your collection or to add to an experienced collectors stable.
