1993 Nissan 300ZX Convertible Additional Info:
Up for sale is my 1993 Nissan 300ZX. If you are looking at this car, then you know how rare these cars are, and how the value is increasing. Roughly ~3,000 convertibles ever made from 93-96, and like all Z's, many end up in the scrap yard. This one is a fairly clean example with a good pedigree that has never left the Dallas, Texas area. See the attaches photos for the original documents from the purchase of the car here in Dallas in 1993, and it's never left. Not a hint of rust anywhere on the body of this 25 year old collector car.The car is mostly OEM except for a K&N intake filter, and the radio. (I also have a dash bezel new in the box to accommodate a 2 DIN (Double DIN) radio that will go with the car upon sale)It also has a one-piece aluminum driveshaft still in the box, waiting to get installed, other than that, the car is bone stock.I would not hesitate to drive this car cross-country tomorrow, it runs perfectly. The Hankook tires on all 4 wheels are brand new, with less than 100 miles on them. The only thing I would do to the car mechanically if I were to keep it would be replace the struts. The ride is a bit spongy and the front left one squeaks a bit sometimes. The soft top is in such good shape I think it may have been replaced at some point, but I'm not sure on that, I don't have the records. It is in pretty pristine condition and functions perfectly going up and down. The car has definitely been garaged it's entire life, so it's plausible that the top is OEM. There are no bubbles/peeling/lifting on the dash at all, just two small spots on the A-Pillar trim pieces. There are scratches and dings on the car you'd expect from a 25 year old car, but the paint is 100% original with no accidents or repairs anywhere. The previous owner was quick to touch-up, but the car wouldn't be winning any concours de elegance anytime soon. The 5 speed transmission feels good, clutch is solid, and the engine sounds fantastic. I have very much enjoyed it being my weekend top-down toy,Clear Texas Title ready to transfer. Please ask questions if you have them
