1991 Nissan Other Coupe Convertible Additional Info:
NOTE: The VIN showing in this listing is not the actual VIN. eBay requires a VIN for any vehicle manufactured after 1981. However, the eBay system does not recognize the VIN for Nissan Figaros, so I had to use a VIN for a different vehicle. The actual VIN number as shown on the Chassis Plate is FK10-018154.
The 1991 Nissan Figaro was only produced for one year for sale in Japan only. Sale was by lottery and the car was so popular, the production run was increased from 2,000 to 20,000. This particular car was imported to the UK where I purchased it five years ago. I drove it until I returned to the states in 2016 and I put it in storage until I could import it. This vehicle rolled off the assembly line in Oct/Nov of 1991.
I just took the car to our local mechanic and they found no structural or mechanical defects. Some routine service was recommended such as flushing the fluid systems, replacing filters and the timing belt. I purchased the necessary parts for this service and went ahead and purchased new fuel and brake lines and components for a full refresh of these critical systems. All parts are on hand, but the work has not yet been scheduled.
This Nissan Figaro is currently in the United States. It has cleared customs and been licensed, titled and registered as an antique vehicle in the state of Virginia. I have two keys for the Figaro as well as a British produced Nissan Figaro Workshop Manual. I also have a car cover for it. This particular Nissan Figaro is 100% original to the best of my knowledge. Unlike some others I've seen for sale, this Figaro is in one of the four original colors (Lapis Grey) instead of having been repainted.
I've posted a video of the engine running HERE
