998 cc Classic Mini Austin A series engine

1978 Mini Classic Mini Additional Info:

998 CLASSIC MINI ENGINE.....automatic transmission/gearbox. Engine removed running from 78 Mini 1000. 23,500 miles on engine. Compression test was 150 145 145 150 in cylinders . Good oil pressure while driving 60-70. Never ran hot. Transmission shifted smooth through all gears . There was the occasional 3rd-4th flare up that was a known issue on the AP auto after the car was driven for awile. This is complete block/head / gearbox. Has hardy spicer type outputs. The starter is still on there. I also have the alternator.
$450 OBO / ( no shipping cost for local pickup ) Location is Lawrence, KS - Shipping arrangements are the buyers responsibility....you will arrange to come pick up the engine or pay to have the engine picked up by freight. I will strap it to a pallet.
