Up for auction is my 1970 MG B GT split bumper. It is showing 51,015 miles on the odometer and I believe it has turned over once but I cannot confirm this. I have owned the car for one year.It has an older re-paint in the original color of red. The paint is not perfect, it has some chips and scratches, but it's still nice. The hood was painted one year ago and was done to a high standard and it is very nice. The interior is nice as well and is mostly original except for a full, high quality carpet kit from Moss Motors that was professionally installed. The bottoms of the original door panels are not in very good shape as the pictures show. The engine and transmission are believed to be original and it runs great! The transmission is a four speed with electric overdrive and it shifts wonderfully, with the overdrive working without any problems. It has new leaf springs and bushings. As you can see from the photos, rust is not an issue with this car. It is VERY clean as far as rust is concerned. Overall, this is a very clean and mostly original MG B GT with the one year only split bumper. It has been cared for and well maintained. It is not a show car, yetit is a car that one can be very proud to own and enjoy. It runs, steers, and stops as it was designed and is great fun to drive. This is a chance to own one of the few affordable European collectables surely to only go up in value.
