Additional Info:

Classic early 1950 MG TD, born Feb 26, 1950. Well-preserved and well-maintained Daily Driver. Reliable and strong, and very well-mannered. Probably 5 previous owners in it's 76 year old plus life. I purchased it in 2010 from the Owls Head Transportation Museum. The car is completely sorted - from the engine to the brakes to the suspension. The only reason that I'm selling it is because the wife and I are downsizing, and it's time to pass it along to a new steward.
The car is complete with the original flat-face Rev Counter and Speedomoter, both Chronometric, original (as far as I can tell) non-drilled steel wheels, original engine as it came from the factory, replica Coker Firestone F560 tries (about 3 years old) with tubes. Clock does not work, but I'm including a Clocks4Classics clock rebuild kit for the MGTD.
ODO says 1648, but TOTAL MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN.
The MG TD market is flat, and has been for a long time. You can buy a bad one for less, but by the time you get it fixed, it won't be worth any more than a good one. So, for an MG TD, it's best to buy the best one that you can get. And, this one is it.
Non-molested, as original as can be reasonably expected. EXCEPT - it is currently running the Moss Motors 5-Speed Ford T-9 5-speed gearbox, BUT, the original good condition MG 4-speed WILL come with the car. I simply changed the gearbox when I replaced the clutch in 2021, for easier driving on modern roads.
Buy it now and enjoy it for years to come. Questions? Send me a note. Thanks! -Steve
