This 1954 MG Midget TF is a classic car waiting to be restored to its former glory. The vehicle has been in the possession of the owner for a year and requires some work. It is not currently being driven, but with some effort, the new owner can bring this car back to life. The exterior is a sleek grey color and the title is clean. Mileage is listed as 999999.
Vehicle Details
1954 MGTF 1250 RHD Project, one of less than 10,000 MGTFs manufactured 1953-1955 and one of less than 1,000 manufactured with Right Hand Drive. This is a good car. The wood ash frame is very good, none of the wood framing needs replacing. A very small amount of plywood in the rear of the body needs replacing. This is a 1250 engine which does not turn presently. The car is mostly complete needing only a transmission tunnel cover, interior door lock/covers and MGTF seats. It presently has MGTD seats but the bottoms are incomplete. I have a brand new set of bumpers and overrides still in the wrappers. I have a brand new wiring harness. This MGTF has a beautiful dash and gauges. I can part this car out for substantially more money than selling it whole. So don't dally if you want a good MGTF project at a bargain price. Restored these cars are bringing $38,000 or more. I am selling this MGTF because I purchased one already restored plus I own a restored 1951 MGTD. Another reason is that I am 70 years old and I am not sure that I can manage to restore a classic car. Thanks for looking.
