BEAUTIFUL1952 MGTD FACTORY BUILT REPLICA. THIS BEAUTY IS A CLASSIC BRITISH ROADSTERBUILT AND ASSEMBLED BY BLAKELY AUTO WORKS OF PRINCETON WISCONSIN. STUNNINGBLACK FIBERGLASS BODY ON A CUSTOM- BUILT FRAME AND POWERED BY A FORD 2.0 2000CC MOTOR. This model Is named after Enrico Bernardi, Italian inventorof the gasoline internal-combustion engine and automobile pioneer.

The bodyof the Bernardi features an unusual formof fiberglass construction. Instead of a single layer of fiberglass, as iscommon in other kit cars, the Bernardi body tub (the portion between thepassenger compartment and the frame or road) and other body components used acomposite sandwich consisting of one layer of fiberglass, one of stiff plasticfoam, and finally a second layer of fiberglass. The result is a heavier bodythan usual but one with reputedly greater stiffness and sound absorption than thesingle-layer approach. Not many of these were made!
