1950 MG YT Additional Info:
I have these two MGYT's that you could be used for Hot rods or be restored depending on your preference? First two photos are of what one could look restored. I have the FLORIDA TITLES for both cars. The red one is a 1948 RHD, and the black one is a 1950 LHD. Buy both and maybe sell one if you like. The black one has an older rebuilt motor in it which has been sitting for awhile, where as the other is missing the motor. I do have all the body parts as well as the metal patch panels I got from England for the metal that is rusted on the red one. The black one has damage on the back left quarter panel that can be repaired as it is solid, but just hit by a falling tree branch. I have the rear trunk lids for the black one as well which are not damaged along with spare parts for these cars including the grill for the black one as well. There is enough to probably restore one of them to original and hot rod the other, or hot rod one and sell the other depending on your preference? The black one had restoration started on it and the frame and and the body are solid. It just has that dent in the back left quarter panel. The engine was rebuilt, but has been sitting for awhile. These are two of the 877-903 MG YT's built back then, so each of them are rare and worth three times the price or better that what I am asking for the pair. Parts are still available for these cars from Moss Motors here in the states, and NTG over in the UK. They take most of the same running gear parts as the MGTD's but being a little bit bigger they seat four rather than just two. I am getting too old and have too many projects to complete. This is the only reason I am willing to part with these cars. The buyer will be responsible for the shipping, but I may be able to help in the loading if needed. There are no warrantees or returns on these cars once they are sold, as they are being sold as is. This a rare chance to own a piece of MG history, as well as to make the car of your dreams! There are two of them, so you can restore or customize as you wish.
