1946 MGTC Chassis number 0877 original engine was XPAG1490 current engine is XPAG2879.Car is an older restoration but in excellent running condition mechanically, functionally, and stylistically a nine out of 10 car. Same owner/mechanic since 1967. Car includes Connolley Brothers of England leather seats and dash that show a rich patina but are still plucky and ready for action, since their installation over 50 years ago. Within the last month this car has had new motor mounts installed, a rebuilt master cylinder, new wheel cylinders and brake shoes on all four wheels. The only thing left on the car to take care of are the side curtains that are included with this sale but need to be reupholstered. On the exterior paint is very clean, it’s been on the car for decades but shows no signs of rough wear. Headlights are King of the Road with Lucas internals.The car has been garaged and driven on a regular basis. Chrome is simply exquisite, perfect throughout. Car does everything swimmingly well, it is light maneuverable and ready to jump in and drive to South America.
