1959 MGA 1600 Roadster

1959 MG MGA Roadster Additional Info:

Up for auction is a 1959 MGA 1600 roadster. I purchased the car from the second owner in Aug. 2002 with plans to do a concours restoration, but other items have taken precedence. The car was restored in the late 80's by the previous owner to a high driver standard (see restoration pictures). This MGA is numbers matching and has been certified by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and is also registered with NAMGAR #3183. The car has not been driven since I moved to Charlotte (3 years) and to the best of my knowledge only needs a new battery and brakes / master cylinder. Misc. details.- Interior - Red / Vinyl- Exterior - Old English White- Top - Frame and new top from moss motors available- Wheels - Painted wire / 48 spoke- Mileage - 51,653 original miles to the best of my knowledge is correct- Engine - 1600 #16GAU5674 (original / not restored)- Production - Approx. 11,378 LHD '59 1600 were exported to N.A.
