1952 MG T-Series leaher Additional Info:
When This was restored over 40 years ago, It was done very well. It has been very well cared for and is authentic and correct in many if not every way. The wood is all very solid and original. The underside of the car was finished as well as the outside was and only has minor wear from normal touring and light use. Paint has a few small scratches and a few minor rock puckers on the fenders but It still shines up nice even on the undersides of all four fenders and the body. Chrome is all good. Top was replaced when the car was painted and is only faded, no rips or tears. no funny wear marks the rear window plastic has some age showing but you can easily see through it . The leather seat could pass as a very good original and there is a possibility that it is. But there are no rips or tears in it either. Comes with the original ownersmanual and the original shop manual. The original bras tags are in place under the hood and are correct to the engine and the title. Clear Washington State Title. permanently licensed with a period correct plate. The tab says 51 because in 52 you had a window sticker due to the war. The Engine starts and runs good and is cold blooded. Carburetors work well and appear to be correct. (I am not an MG expert). Transmission is solid and shifts great with no slop or noise. Wire wheels are the Painted option type and the tires have good tread life in them and no funny wear. Car drives straight. There are a few spares that go with the car including the original running board strips and gas tank chrome pieces. ( they were bought new at time of painting/Restoration. This was a body off job Done in the early seventies by an individual that cared. All of the bolt heads are correct that I can see and everything was addressed at that time. It appears to have been a very solid car to start with. Please feel free to ask questions and please discuss offers with me if interested. 5O9.939.4O39 Darren
