1978 Mercury Cougar Additional Info:

1978 Mercury Cougar XR7. Over $10,000 was spent on this car with many receipts. Rebuilt 351 V8 motor and transmission. A performance camshaft was added at this time with a little more lift and duration. It's in very nice condition. Some rust, but NOT bad. Everything works. The sad part is a small tree limb fell across the roof, so it's got a few dents on top. My plan was to fill them in, and cover the rest of the roof in white vinyl like the back Landeau half. Interior is immaculate. I have the original wheels with nice tires to go with it. I'll keep the 17 inch Mustang Bullit wheels if buyer is not interested in them, and knock off a few hundred bucks from the price. Brakes are excellent, transmission shifts nice and tight just like it should.Drives like a dream. Good power, AC works when you put a can of freon in it. Clean title in my name. Thanks for looking.
