1970 Mercury Cyclone GT

This is a very clean Cyclone GT originally a California car that has spent the last 20 years in Arizona. Please look at all the pictures and ask any questions you might have before bidding.

Cons

· The frontend is wrong the hideaways headlights and the bullet grill center section is missing the previous owner raced cars so I think he was going for the Woods Brothers 21 car look. I have the correct 1970 grill with the right headlight assemblies with 2 new arm clips they go with the car the two pieces needed to complete would be the vacuum reservoir and Lines-I was going to change it over to an electrical system from West Coast Cougars

· Top of radiator support looks like someone drop the engine at one time on it- I thought it might have been in an accident but everything else is straight.

· Engine runs but has weak compression in one of the cylinders I haven’t checked to see if it is the rings or something else-the car runs and drives

· Dash Pad is cracked needs to be restored

· Console door needs to be fixed the plastic tabs are broken

· Seat belt warning buzzer is stuck I disconnected it

· Paint is wrong check the Marti Report

Pros

· No Rust!

· New shocks

· Brake have been gone thru

· New FlowKooler Water Pump in Box

· New Thermostat in box with new brass box insert and block bypass

· Extra block 20 over needs final hone and cleaning and crank that has been turned

· NOS Wheel lip trim rear Passenger polished

· Rear waffle piece for between lights is included

· Very original car

· 351 4V

· A/C

· Instrument Cluster over the glove box option

· Power Steering

· Power Front Disc Brakes

· Tinted Glass

· Clock

· Did I say no Rust

· Needs little to make it into a nice driver

· Original interior
