A rare 1939 Mercury Convertible for sale. 90 plus % complete with parts to complete the build. Starting with a frame off, coated chassis, body and parts removed, restored and painted all steel. Remaining parts to complete including chrome trim, running boards, running board treads, bumpers, convertible top irons, etc etc. Needs red interior finished and top material completed on irons included. Drive train was completely rebuilt including rear end, transmission and V-8 flat-head motor. Converted to 12 volt with new lights, battery, wiring etc. Starts and drives perfectly. No leaks, noises, and automobile works correctly. Body and paint are near flawless, ready for the final touches with parts supplied in this listing. As nice a rare car as you will find at this low reserve price. Underside original front end, rear suspension, with new brakes, and chassis/steering parts replaced. Pictures were taken with automobile in storage. Dust and pics do not shoe how nice and show quality it is.
