1987 Mercury Other XR3 Additional Info:

I have a rare 1987 Mercury Lynx XR3 with @13,000 miles on the car, it has near perfect ground effects and the original Marshal fog lights that work. The interior is in overall good shape for it's age and the dash has been started for the repair of the cracks and would benefit from some more sanding to make a factory finish. The paint needs to be done to show at a restored level but I like the patina, the car is all factory and has all of the parts. The work that has been done with in the last 2,000 miles; Replaced head gasket, rebuilt head, replace with OEM gaskets, New OEM thermostat, New rear wheel brake cylinders, brake flush, new TPS, new AVM, New OEM spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, oil change, fuel filter, power steering pump and hoses, Tires, muffler, front OEM struts, timing belt, water pump, alternator, new belts. This is ready to run and turn heads, this is one of only 2 XR3 models I have seen in my life and one of very few Lynx's for sale in the U.S. and this one does not have any rust and the body panels are really clean and would not take much to fully restore and then have basically a new relibiable car for the next 200,000 miles. I have a set of lowering springs for ST suspension that are not installed that I will throw in with the deal and a box of extra parts, with original owners manual booklet, sales voucher, and build sheet that was on the drivers inside door panel. Also has original keys and key fob.
Only problems I know of are; Arm rest needs re-done, drivers window some times needs help aligning when rolling up, needs paint, need's finishing work on dash, Wiper washer tank sensor for level fill does not work but washes work as normal, and the temp. gauge seems to have a mind of it own at times most likely a weak ground.
I would love to keep her but I have family that was effected in the Northern California fires and need cash.
