1976 280S Running Condition

1976 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Additional Info:

All original and in running condition, ruly a Mercedes which would turn heads and be admired by any owner.Am the 3rd owner of the vehicle and have owned her since 1993. The previous 2 owners were all Colorado residents and has always beenregisteredin the state. Please note, ileage is not actual. As with many of the older MBs theodometer would eventually freeze. My estimate would be she should have 110,000 on her clock.
Over the years many parts have been replaced from door actuators, limate control, rakes, adiator, ibration dampeners, ndcarburetor. She is mechanically sound and still enjoys a highway tripoccasionally. Suspension is sound without leaks in any of the shocks. No wear on the tires from a bad front end and steers straight and corners well. It does have a slightdrive-linevibration when starting off but does not vibrate after going from a complete stop. The climatevacuumcontroller was replaced and is operational as well as all the buttons. The air conditioner pump was removed to facilitate the replacement of the timing chain and rail guides. It was never replaced due to the lack ofavailabilityof R-12 refrigerant, ut is still on hand and will be included in the sale. Have all repair and partreceiptssince purchase.
The body hasslighthail damage on the hood, oof and trunk. She does have a crease in the drivers door from someonescarelessnessin a parking lot.All chrome still bright without rust or tarnish.
AlloriginalMB Tex with out a rip or tear and the carpet andheadlinerin excellent shape. She as never been smoked in. TheoriginalBecker was taken out and replaced by a "modern"cassetteplayerradio. Have theoriginalBecker as well as the speakers on hand and would be included in the sale.
Set of Mercedes Service Books are included in the sale as well as numerous hard to come by spare parts.
