A classic 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300E (W124) 4-door sedan in excellent condition, finished in Pearl Grey over Grey leather. Equipped with moonroof, power seats, power windows, and original paint. The car runs beautifully, pulls strongly, and feels tight and solid. Standard service has been done at Valyant Auto in Chatham. (Mike can attest to how great this car is!)
I tried to take photos of the underbody to show you how clean it is, but my pictures aren't that great--I hope they help.
I'm downsizing to only 1 car and I need to keep my daily driver. Under my ownership, it's never seen snow. And, apparently, the previous owners appear to have taken the same caution.
For most of its life, the car was reportedly maintained by a Mercedes mechanic who cared for it meticulously. It shows. I’ve continued that stewardship with regular servicing and careful upkeep. It has been driven primarily on summer weekends around the Hudson Valley.
Recent maintenance and upgrades under my ownership (June 2024 – July 2025):
Aug 2024: Repaired rear defroster; repaired rear electric window motor (window now closes properly); installed Mercedes Special BE2210 CC Becker cassette radio professionally refitted with Bluetooth (imported from Germany); replaced left front ball joint
Sept 2024: Two new rear tires
July 2025: New battery
The interior is clean and exceptionally well preserved. The grey leather upholstery and headliner are in excellent condition. The car retains its original Pearl Grey paint, which presents beautifully with a natural patina and light micro-scratches consistent with age. I chose not to buff it, preferring to preserve its originality. There is one small rust spot (approximately the size of a quarter) on the driver’s door.
Heat works properly. I let the A/C run out of freon 2 years ago, so it does not currently blow cold and would need re-charged/service.
It truly is a beautiful car--inside and out and on the road.
