1982 Mercedes-Benz 300TD Wagon delivered to Europe

1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Additional Info:

I bought this 1982 Signal Red Mercedes Benz 300TD Estate Wagon in 2018. This car was ordered and delivered to the original owner in Greece. The early Mercedes dealer service stamps in the service booklet are in Greek. The man who ordered the car was working for the department of defense in Greece. When he moved to Arizona he had the car shipped over. I had never seen one with velour interior - a European standard as far I have experienced. I was taken back by the rarity of the color. I had the car shipped from Los Angeles from Arizona as I did not know what it really needed.
I have invested well over 15k in getting this wagon dialed in from having the transmission professionally overhauled to redoing the brakes, suspension, front end etc etc. Most of the work was performed by Beverly Laurel Automotive in Hollywood.
I absolutely love this car. It is a pure joy to drive and it is extremely popular when I drive it. The reason I am selling it is I live primarily in Florida now as my young daughter is there.
The car runs and drives super smooth. The brightwork is superb. I had the windows tastefully tinted. I am not a paint expert but I believe there are parts of the car that have been repainted and some that is original; I suggest you inspect for yourself. I can assure you during my ownership the car has always been garaged. I have taken it to Ojai a few times and it has handled the road trip flawlessly. The cruise control does work as well as everything else.
I know there is someone perfect who will understand all the love and care I have invested into this car to take on new ownership.
