1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 5 Door Station Wagon Additional Info:

Up for sale in a NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1982 Mercedes 300 TD, 126K mile, 1 owner until February 2017. The car is Signal Red with dark grey cloth velour interior. Factory delivery in Germany by U. S. Air Force officer then to U.S.A., Tucson, AZ when owner was stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (Decal still on windshield).

Exterior:

The body is rust free original. All the bright work, rubber bumpers end show excellent. All glass is original and clear. The paint is mostly original and still shines like on a much newer car with only a couple of dings.

Interior:

The interior is all original and in outstanding condition. 1 spot at rear of bottom drivers seat looks like a moth ate about a 3” circle of material. There were sheepskin covers on the seats for many years.

Mechanical:

The engine runs very smooth. Suspension operates nicely. The steering is tight. The tires are brand new just installed. The A/C has been serviced and works perfectly. All power windows, original Becker AM/FM cassette radio, cruise control, gauges all in working order. No dash cracks of any kind. Extremely well preserved, pampered Mercedes.

Maintenance:

Original books show the stamps and maintenance (see photos). Recent cooling system all new radiator, water pump, thermostat, belts and hoses. Also rear suspension accumulators new, original wheels powder coated with 4 new tires, injector serviced, full oil & filter service. Outstanding original 1 owner until February 2017. Runs and drives very well.
