1974 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Additional Info:

Listing my 1974 240d that ive had for about 8 years. This car is a project that runs and drives, I just lost interest in old Mercedes and want to pass it along to someone who will appreciate it for what it is. Ive done so far: Rebuilt injection pump, Bosio injector nozzles and calibration, Valve guide seals, 300D rear diff with higher gearing, coco mats and Sheepskin seat covers, w123 radiator since the original is recore only and extremely cost inefficient to rebuild. I daily drove this vehicle up until a few years ago when I put it away with non op registration that is up to date. The engine runs fantastic, trans shifts smooth with no noise (redline mtl) and the rear end is quiet and has all new rubber bushings and wheel bearings (difficult). The car will need new shocks and springs which are included with H&R progressive springs that will lower the car 2" all around. The steering gear leaks a bit, there is some minor rust in the trunk area and the paint is otherwise original. The rust will need some attention. I will include the molding in the sale and the car is without the (ugly) US bumpers because I was planning on putting euro spec blades until I lost interest.
