I am selling this 1972 Mercedes 350SL convertible for a friend of mine that has decided to buy a new one rather than restore this one. It runs and drives ok but will need to be restored. The body has rust on various surfaces such as the sides of the top, the trunk lid, lower rocker quarters, and some on the floorboards. It looks as though it can be repaired with a good metal and body man. The interior is in fair condition. The owner is not looking for a whole lot of money on this car since it will require some restorative repairs. It starts right up and drives ok. It seems to steer and brake ok as well.
