1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series W123 300TD 300TDT 300 TD TDT Additional Info:
Here i am selling out 1983 Mercedes 300TD wagon . The W123 series was built from 1978-1985 and already had a reputation for being the most durable and reliable cars Mercedes ever built. With the introduction of the turbo charged engine into the wagons in 1981 they also were much more fun to drive as well. These 5 cylinder engines are known to go over 500k miles without needing any major engine wor, if they are maintained well. There are several cars on Ebay right now with over 400k miles and still running well. We only have 204k miles on ours and it still should work well for many more years. We had it recently serviced at our trusted Mercedes mechanic and it does not need anything at this time. All the door locks and windows work as intended. The AC has been converted and it blows nice and cold. It always starts up right away and has plenty of power in town and on the freeway. We are constantly getting 27mpg of diesel while still cruising at 85mph on the freeway .The body and the chrome are in good condition with only minor rock chips or small dings from 36 years of careful use. The interior is very clean. The headliner is new and the rear cargo carpets have been replaced at some point as well. The tires were replaced last year and have less than 10k miles on them. I would not hesitate to take this wagon on a long distance trip at a moments notice. It is ready to go.If you have any more question, just send me a note through Ebay and i will get back to you soon. I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could actually come out and see it . But i would also be helpful with shipping arrangements for any out of town winning bidders. Please have your funding in order and do all your 'due diligence" BEFORE placing a bid. If you have any question, just ask . Communication is key . Thank you for looking at my auction and good luck bidding ...
