1993 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class AMG Additional Info:
Lovely 300SL Coupe, straight 3.2 liter V6 engine one of the most reliable engines Mercedes ever built Lots of recent maintenance and repairs done after acquisition. Extremely clean. A/C ice cold, AMG Wheel, Excellent condition, Looks & drives great, Must see, Non-smoker, Title in hand, Very clean interior, front seats need to be mended very small tear, the cloth on roof needs to be re upholstered or just glued back very easy fix seems to happen with all pre 98 Mercedes the adhesive they use must not last long and creates that saggy roof upholstery. The only issue I have with the car is at around 80 thousand miles the cluster would randomly work perfect then randomly go crazy does not effect any driving related issues the signals always work speedometer never stopped working it's just the oil pressure gauge, & miles gauge randomly stops counting I've seen clusters selling for under 100 bucks at local junk yards but they always have high mileage & was never sure if it was the problem I'm not a car wiz I never sleep on an issue if there's a problem with one of my cars I fix it the right way, not try to save money. The car drives likes it came out the factory floor I really do not want to let it go but there is no more room in the garage & driveway to keep it & the wife if tired of moving cars in & out the garage .Comes with the soft top in immaculate condition. The milage is 99 percent correct the most off it can be is 100 miles. This car rarely left the garage. Shocks, upper & lower control arms, tie rods, end links, where replaced on all 4 corners. head gaskets was replaced, New radiator spent over this was all done at the 75 thousand mark spent over 6000 in repairs with reciept to show. Very minor blemishes in clear coat that can be buffed out with a detail. I can count the blemishes with my left hand. The owner before me put the AMG bumper side skirts on it they looked beautiful but where to low to the ground for NJ streets so they took some abuse on high driveways or speed bumps. They can either be taken off for the original look or fixed for the AMG look to match the Original AMG wheels
