1962 Mercedes Unimog 404 Troop Carrier priced to sell. No Reserve. This Unimog is equipped and ready for some serious off road driving. Unimogs are well known for their climbing capabilities and this one is no exception. The engine is a 6 cylinder gas motor that starts up every time and runs great. Points have been replaced with Petronix. The standard 6 speed manual transmission has a new clutch and shifts in all gears without issue. Reverse gears are hi and low. The Unimog sits on 38x15x20 inch super swamper tires. The electrics are in working order. Odometer does not work so exact mileage is unknown. The interior seats are upholstered in black. Please note that the material of both front and rear canopies has some tearing. The rear cabin area is equipped with the side seating where the troops would sit.
