'74 Mercedes Benz 240 D w manual transmission

1974 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Additional Info:

Up for sale is my '74 Mercedes 240 D. This has been a very good car for me and I really liked it. But last summer the engine gave out, so I put in an engine from another Mercedes I formerly used. The body of the donor car had some problems, so I kept the drive train and some body parts. The engine of the donor car always ran very good and would start in rather cold weather. I am now under pressure by the local bureaucrats to reduce the number of vehicles at
my house, so this one has to go. I hate to see it go because it has been such a good car for me. This car has aluminum wheels, good tires all around, the glass is good, windows all work (manual), transmission shifts like it is supposed to,
all 4 floor panels have been replaced, the under side is not pristine but is acceptable. After the replacement engine was installed I tried to start it, but it didn't start for me, However, I know for a fact that the engine is good and with a
certain amount of tinkering it will run. The car gets about 27-28 mpg on road. This has the very desirable 4 speed manual transmission, which I liked. I hate to see this car go because it has been good to me. Interior is acceptable but
