1971 mercedes 220d

1971 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Additional Info:

NOTE! Odometer reads 51946, but I DO NOT KNOW if that is accurate! I would guess it has more miles than that, maybe 151496 - but I don't know. This is an older restoration that was a daily driver until several years ago. It is solid and definitely worth bringing back to it's glory, but it should be restored again. Definitely needs brake work - after sitting, they do pump up, but do not hold pressure well. Last started a year ago. Started and drove easily, but a fuel line leaked and now all diesel is out of tank. Mirror glass faded, some glas, and all window rubber could use replacement. Very little rust, but there is some you can see some of it bubbling up in my pictures. Trying to tell you the worst of all of it. Oh, the trim on the right front fender is missing. Otherwise the car seemsw to be pretty complete. I bought this off of ebaymotors close to ten years ag, and and drove it home. It would not take much to get this to drive home, but it certainly would need brake work and a battery, and a repair to that fuel line mentioned above. Oh! And it has the super nice option of a sun roof!
