1994 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Additional Info:
1994 Mercedes-Benz C280 Base Sedan 4-Door 2.8L 140K miles $1199 -head gasket leak. Was driving
good when head gasket leaked. The air conditioning works fine and is cold. Needs head gasket. The head gasket
is $75 on ebay. Please see pictures for how good this vehicle can be. I can have the car hauled free to 50 or 60 miles
of Lawrenceville, GA with a service, that I am a member. The Mercedes is in otherwise excellent
condition. It starts and runs fine today. But that will not last long with a head gasket leak. You can
buy the parts to fix it, on eBay. The engine light is on, while
running, and I believe that is an exhaust issue, which will need to be fixed before the it will
pass Georgia emissions test. The Mercedes was owned by a business out of state, and it had
a car tag on it out of state, so it did not have to pass the
emissions test, but it has been running up until this head gasket issue.
I got an estimate, from a local mechanic, to get the head gasket replaced was $700 labor so a head gasket is $100. To flush the oil out of the cooling system is $250. The estimate total is $1050. thank you
Estimated repairs are $1050
