1979 Mercedes 300DT Wagon *No Reserve

1979 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300TD Additional Info:

Starts and runs. Naturally aspirated (not turbo) 5 cylinder inline diesel motor runs good. Easily converted to bio-diesel. Lots of rust on body, loorboards, nd sun roof! Extra headlight and taillight assemblies, ub-caps, ash, peedometer, rim. Original Becker radio works great. Low mileage brake pads wheel cylinders. Great parts car with good diesel battery.
I just charged the battery, t started right up. Drove it down the block and back, hifts to all three gears plus reverse. Brakes work good. It is an old diesel with very slow acceleration. This is a parts/project car, nd it needs a lot of work. The floorboard is rusted through in the back seat, nd on the passenger side seat. there are many rusted through body parts as shown in the photos. I wouldn't recommend driving it on the highway in it's current condition. The A/C worked the last time it had a full freon charge several years ago, ut it doesn't work now. It was registered and passed inspection expired last June (2015).
