The 1987 Mercedes diesel Wagon is a rare vehicle it was only produced for one year. It was the fastest Diesel in the world and pulls and runs amazingly today. This wagon is a torque monster and pulls beautifully through its rev range. Moreover,out of all the my Mercedes diesels through the years this one is amazing.
Engine runs great and is up to date with services. Has recent Amsoil synthetic oil. I recently did some preventive maintainance for a trip that was done to VA which included hoses,waterpump, pullies tensioners and belts. The Wagon performed incredibly,delivering 28 to 31mpg. This is a solid vehicle and weighs close to two tons. Wind noise on the higway is minimal fatigue is reduced with incredible seating and the new sony stereo sounds great. The inside is a very pleasant place to be the blue sets your mind at ease the the materials used are top notch. Rupunzel presents very well as she has not been in the sun to often. She sleeps under the covers in a garage with her brothers and sisters and step brother. She has a big family that includes two W140 diesels a Nissan diesel, 500e and an M5. I have to eliminate a couple of vehicles to offset some home repairs and space.
Has ice cold airconditioning with new components r134a and heater is hotOverall a great running vehicle not new slightly enjoyed.
